I've been asked by my boss to consider going full time in my position at work. This would mean 40 hours a week, as opposed to the 30-35 I work now, a better benefit package, and a 20% pay increase. Hmmm...it all sounds great, but I'm apprehensive as my first priority is my family and I wonder how this will affect them.
We haven't had anything too interesting happening around here. Everyone is happy to finally have a little bit of sunshine, even though it is freezing!

We don't need the money...most of it would go into savings. Jodi, I would love to tell them that I would do it on a trial basis, but it's the difference between an hourly position and a salaried position, so I don't think they'll let me 'try' it out.
Our kids are 12, 9, and 6. Dh works part time about 10 minutes from home, and my job is also a 10 minute commute. I think what it's going to come down to is if I hate it, I'll quit and look for something else. I definately won't be touching any of the extra money until I know for sure whether I'm going to stay at the job!
