TGIF!!!

May 4th, 2007 at 10:25 pm

So, my $300 is all used up for the week...right down to the crunch!

Thank goodness a new spending week starts today. I'm off to the bank to take out our money and I do have to pick up a few things from the grocery store, but nothing major until tomorrow or Sunday after I've done the meal plan and grocery list for the week.

This should be a fairly quiet week...and I can't think of any unusual expenses. I do need new running shoes, but I have a gift certificate for $25 and I'm sure that I can find something suitable for close to that price!

It was dd's birthday yesterday...she's now 11...where did that time go? She is a wonderful, sunny personality child and we know that we are blessed to have her. She chose to go out for Japanese food for her birthday dinner and we'll be having a sleepover party for her next week. She's invited 9 of her giggly girl friends!

Ugh I hated sleepovers, and I had three daughters! Happy birthday to your daughter!

I really don't mind the sleepovers. I like knowing where everybody is and what they're up to. Our house is a 3 level split so the bedrooms and family room are actually three floors apart and at opposite ends of the house. Our three kids often have huge sleepovers where they all crash in the family room. I tell them they can stay up as late as they want as long as they don't keep me awake...the t.v. and lights have to go off at midnight, and the kids usually crash around that time.

Of course, ds (13) had 6 friends sleep over a few weeks ago and at breakfast I noticed 3 of them had pink moustaches. Why? Because they were the first 3 to fall asleep so the other 3 decorated them with a pink permanent marker.

    Note to self...fall asleep last!

Ah that would have been much better! I live in a one level ranch style and you can hear the TV in the livingroom from our bedroom, much less a bunch of giggling girls! Have fun with it!

Thats why we fixed up the basement! We can stick the kids down there now. Love the giggles! They won't last forever, gotta appreciate it now.
Yum, Japanese food! Thats where I went for my birthday last year too! Hi-ya!
